European technology platform
The European Construction Technology Platform (ECTP) is an instrument introduced by the EU Commission. ECTP is a platform for the construction industry to develop long-term visions and strategies and it handles the implementation of a matching strategic action-plan. ECTP is located under the EU’s 7th framework programme.
As a supplement to the common European platform; ECTP, a number of countries have formed national technology platforms; NTP. The NTP’s coordinates national initiatives with European initiatives and ensures participation from small and medium size companies. At the moment the Nordic countries are working on forming a Nordic Construction Technology Platform.
The Danish Enterprise and Construction Authority participate in ECTP’s mirror group, a forum for public authorities in relation to construction.
