Business development
It is the responsibility of the Centre for Business Development to foster growth conditions for the Danish business community. This is achieved, among other things, by establishing better framework conditions for entrepreneurs and by promoting regional development, user-driven innovation and strategic application of design.
The goal in the entrepreneurial area is to increase the number of Danish growth entrepreneurs and maintain Denmark’s position as one of the countries where most enterprises are launched. The challenge is to boost the number of Danish growth entrepreneurs. The Danish Authority of Enterprise and Construction will make an effort to create major regional growth houses that can bring together and strengthen public consultancy services for growth entrepreneurs as well as improve the interaction between the private market for consultancy and public services. With respect to innovation, focus is placed on programmes for user-driven innovation where enterprises and public institutions can try out new methods for user-driven innovation.
