The Little Mermaid on the journey of her life

Her journey was celebrated with an hour-long ceremony at Langelinie where two dancers performed ‘Dance of the Mermaid and the Dragon’.  Farewell speeches were delivered and two children’s choir sang in Danish and Chinese. Finally, after a countdown from ten, The Little Mermaid was lifted up in the air, placed on a truck and driven away.    

The Little Mermaid will go to China by air and will be revealed to the public inside the Danish Pavilion on 25 April.
