EXPO World Exhibition
The Danish participation in World Exhibitions – colloquially called EXPOs - seeks to create awareness of Denmark abroad.
The aim is to increase awareness of Denmark and to strengthen its position as an exciting, innovative and forward-thinking nation; especially within energy efficiency, renewable energy and green growth.
EXPOs are global non-commercial exhibitions focusing on intercultural dialogue, strengthening of international relations and the exchange of solutions to global challenges. The financing, design and implementation of Danish Expo participation is based on a public-private partnership between the Danish state and a range of private partners.
The Danish Enterprise and Construction Authority is responsible for the global branding of Denmark at EXPOs. Project management and administration are attended to by the EXPO secretariat in the Danish Enterprise and Construction Authority.
