Some products require special attention for security policy reasons. Therefore, international agreements have been concluded according to which special products are subject to export controls. They are dual-use products (products of both civilian and military application), certain chemical products (C-weapons) as well as products to be used for torture and execution purposes. Trade in these goods is subject to restrictions, and special import or export authorisations are required regarding these products.
