Property data
The Danish Authority of Enterprise and Construction is the authority in charge of various registers and IT systems holding property data. Furthermore, the Danish Authority of Enterprise and Construction is also responsible for the coordination of these registers to ensure that they can be used more effectively by citizens, the business community and other authorities. This task is part of the Danish Government’s goal regarding digital administration.
In Denmark, there are many different digital registers and systems, but even more publicly registered information. The Danish Authority of Enterprise and Construction is responsible for a number of geo-data, i.e. data relating to a place, especially buildings and dwellings. The challenge is to ensure the coordination of these data to enable them to flow freely and safely between public authorities and private users and become integrated with the rest of public data. The Danish Authority of Enterprise and Construction coordinates the work with other public authorities to ensure proper coherence between geo-data and person and enterprise-related data.
