Regional implementation
The growth fora have drawn up a strategy for regional growth and business development, which takes its point of departure in the region’s business structure and special strengths and challenges. The fora develop and prioritise the action that is meant to translate the strategy into specific improvements of the regional growth conditions.
The growth fora are not themselves implementing units. The initiatives which the growth fora wish to launch must therefore be implemented by others, for example municipalities, independent institutions or other independent legal entities.
The Danish Enterprise and Construction Authority keeps up a close dialogue with the secretariats of the regional growth fora with a view to helping to establish a better regional framework for future growth. Also among the other actors, there is a dialogue to ensure maximum benefit from each single actor’s effort for growth and employment.
