Seven related countries

30.06.2011

A number of countries have a special status, as the rules for exports to these countries are more lenient. They are the countries that are listed in Part 3 of Annex II to the EU regulation, namely:

Australia
Canada
Japan
New Zealand
Norway
Switzerland
USA

Annex I products
In connection with exports of products which are listed only in Annex I of the control list, no actual export authorisation is required. The exporter is merely required to register with the Danish Enterprise and Construction Authority. A Community general export authorisation will subsequently be issued automatically.

An export authorisation is, however, required if it is a matter of a military end-user or if the product is to be used in a military context.

Annex II, Part 2 products
In connection with products listed in Part 2 of Annex II of the control list (products that may be used in missile technology and the nuclear sphere), an export authorisation is required.

Annex IV products
In connection with products listed in Annex IV of the control list, an export authorisation is required.
