SME Policy

The Danish Enterprise and Construction Authority coordinates Denmark’s participation in the exchange of experience and best practises in the business policy area.

The Authority is a member of the European Commission’s Committee for the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme that assist the European Commission (Enterprise DG) in administering the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme, one of the specific programmes under the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP).

In the Committee, experience is exchanged and the member states’ policies towards small and medium-sized enterprises are analysed and benchmarked with a view to promote good framework conditions for small enterprises. The programme runs until 2013 and is part of the Lisbon process.
